Here at Maple Rebel, we are proud to be Canadian.

And like many Canadians, we have always felt there’s more to our identity than the stereotypes. Yes, we’re known for being polite — but we’re also witty, tough, rebellious, fair, thoughtful, and fiercely loyal. There’s a uniquely Canadian confidence that doesn’t always shout, but it’s always there.

That spirit inspired Maple Rebel.

We wanted to create a clothing line that represents the unapologetically Canadian attitude so many of us share — proud of where we come from, a little sassy, a little rebellious, but always grounded in kindness and respect.

At the same time, it was important that Maple Rebel reflect another value many Canadians care deeply about: respect for the land.

That’s why wherever possible, Maple Rebel clothing is made using 100% organic cotton and eco-friendly textiles. Creating clothing responsibly sometimes means sourcing materials from different parts of the world, but the goal remains the same — choosing fabrics and production methods that reduce environmental impact and support more sustainable practices.

Organic cotton isn’t just better for the planet — it is also be better for people, and we have done our best in balancing Canadian pride with eco-friendly textiles.

Hypoallergenic fabrics made from organic cotton can provide relief for those living with conditions like eczema, dermatitis, or multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS). Natural fibers may also be more comfortable for individuals managing fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, multiple sclerosis (MS), and other sensitivities.

Beyond comfort, organic cotton is biodegradable, meaning it naturally breaks down over time. Unlike many synthetic fabrics that can sit in landfills for years, organic materials return to the earth more responsibly.
